Ilford Chess Club Founded 1900 One of London's oldest chess clubs welcomes new members! Monday evenings from 7.30 p.m. at the Redbridge Social Centre, Beehive Lane, Ilford, Essex IG4 5EE. Approach on the turning between houses 160 -166 sign-posted to the 'Redbridge Social Centre' on Beehive Lane. This is almost opposite Somersby Gdns. Turn left after 50m and the Centre is on the right behind the chain link fence.

We meet at REDBRIDGE SOCIAL CLUB, Beehive Lane, Ilford, Essex IG4 5EE. The Centre is behind housing on Beehive Lane so not easy to find. Take the turning from Beehive Lane between houses 160 – 166 sign-posted to the Redbridge Social Centre. This is almost opposite Somersby Gdns. 50 metres in there is a lane behind the houses, turn left and you will see the Centre (including a large car park) to the right surrounded by a chain link fence. Inside the fence there is plenty of parking.

Friendly social games all year, coaching for children, and league matches for stronger players. We play in three leagues: Essex, North Circular and London.

Beginners and strong players welcome.
